Under their Partners, press What are you trying to fix? and choose "A partner is missing". Every love story deserves its branch! Add them, with dates if you know them, and say whether they're married, partners, separated or divorced. For example, if your uncle's wife is missing, add her as his wife with their wedding year.

Person page (Safe edit on) → under Parents, Partners or Children → What are you trying to fix?
Only people with the "Add people" and "Remove" ticks, with Safe edit on.
