Press Play, or drag the slider, and the years roll by: a bright dot where someone was born, a soft one where they lived, two linked rings for a wedding, and a quiet outline once they've died. Places where your families crossed glow only in the years both were there. Too fast or too slow? Press − or + beside Speed – 10% a press. All years takes you back to the whole map. Bring a cuppa! For example, you might watch your family move from a village in Ireland to Liverpool and on to London over a hundred years.
