Coming soon
Coming soon: a kitty for your tree. Anyone in the family can Chip in – £5 to start, then any whole amount you like (£6, £7, £12…), and the Family Wall says thank you. When the owner asks the family to help, or during the 14 days after a card doesn't go through, everyone sees the running total – for example, "£8 of £14.99 so far – thank you Dave and Grandma!" When a little more would cover the whole year, we'll say so: "Add £2.99 more to cover the whole year, and we'll add an extra month as a thank you." Anything over rolls on to next year, and the pot is used first when the tree renews. Rather promise than pay now? The owner can switch that on. Many hands make light leaves! There's also your own pot.
